Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper with a distinct style. Baker was born the 22nd of April, 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family with English Scottish and German descent. His parents were missionaries, and throughout his childhood, they traveled extensively with them. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker was moved to Denver along with his father, and stayed for some time. Baker was bullied by fellow kids because of his poverty. The first time Baker heard of hip-hop was as he began sixth class. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. The music he composes blends modern hip-hop, alternative and rock. Prior to making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. By the end of 2011, the Cleveland artist became an international star after he made the transition to self-releasing mixtapes to working for reputed label labels. It was from there, with all of his albums reaching the top ten charts.
